Methodology

Botonomy has created a simple methodology for project management that is useful when starting new projects, or making mid-course corrections on an existing project.

The premise of our approach is that you can distill key project management activities into the following categories:

  • The Documents that a team prepares and maintains
  • The Lists of things that a team actively tracks, such as issues, requirements, etc.
  • The automatic reactions (or Reflexes) that a team takes in response to various events occur across the project lifecycle

We refer to the Documents, Lists, and Reflexes of a project team as the Project Management Trifecta, abbreviated as the PM Trifecta. 

Unlike many binder-ware methodologies , our PM Trifecta approach gets to the root of how a team actually manages their work in practice, rather than just in theory. It can be easily tailored to accommodate the company culture, risk profile, and time-to-market needs of each client.
